Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods and equipment.
• Handle and store goods and equipment in a manner that prevents damage or breakage.
• Sort and label skids and place them in designated locations.
• Perform inventory counts based on bills of lading, trailer manifests, or packing slips.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading goods or equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and maintain a clean and organized dock area.
• Stack goods neatly and safely.
• Submit reports and information in a timely manner.
• Perform basic arithmetic calculations and assist with on-the-job training.
• Load and secure shipments according to proper procedures.
• Implement safe and efficient freight handling and lifting procedures.

Requirements:

• One year of forklift operating experience.
• Pallet Jack experience.
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime, and on any day of the week.
• Experience in a freezer or cooler warehouse environment.
• Adherence to FFE policies and procedures.
• Timely and efficient completion of tasks and responsibilities.
• Promotion of teamwork and cooperative effort.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
• Desire to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
