Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement educational programs for youth in 4-H club meetings, focusing on life skills, family wellness, and community engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community members, stakeholders, and other agencies to promote extension programs and ensure equal access for all.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with other UGA Extension agents, community organizations, and local businesses to plan and implement programs that address the needs of the community.
  • Program Evaluation and Reporting: Evaluate program effectiveness and report on outcomes to stakeholders, using data to inform program improvements and expansion.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Human/Youth Development, Sociology, Education, Agriculture, Family & Consumer Sciences, Recreation, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in program management, community engagement, and collaboration is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
