Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Asset Living. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring the upkeep of our properties, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Management
    • Coordinate and schedule maintenance requests and work orders to ensure timely completion.
    • Inspect properties daily to identify and address hazardous conditions or liability concerns.
    • Manage maintenance supplies inventory and maintain a well-organized maintenance shop.
    • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of our properties.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
  • Personnel Management
    • Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff to ensure effective operations.
    • Monitor work progress and provide guidance and support as needed.
    • Contribute to employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and counseling as required.
  • Customer and Resident Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
    • Project a positive image of Asset Living and promote our community values.
    • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents and enforce community policies as delegated by the Community Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of effective maintenance management and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
