This internship is designed for undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the construction field. As a Construction Intern, you will assist project teams in managing construction projects, including all phases from bidding to final completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project teams in managing construction projects, including bidding, preconstruction, and field operations.
  • Perform quantity take-off, layout, and preconstruction surveys.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Interact with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings and assist with coordinating work between the owner, architect, and subcontractors.
  • Assist with estimating, budgeting, and value engineering.
  • Prepare billings to the owner and submit change orders.
  • Assist with ordering and expediting materials, scheduling, and quality control.
