Job Title: RF Engineer

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing analog radio frequency (RF) and microwave GHz circuits, components, and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced oscillator systems
  • Participate in electrical design team, outlining requirements, circuit design and analysis, circuit simulation, and component selection
  • Oversee and direct board layout and production of circuits
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of RF circuits and subsystems
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field
  • Active microwave circuits
  • RF and analog systems
  • Proficiency in Microwave Office or ADS
  • Proficiency in Mentor or other circuit layout software
Additional Beneficial Experience:
  • Experience in discrete oscillator design
  • Experience in low-phase-noise oscillator design
  • Familiarity with Ansys HFSS
  • Quantum or sensor design
