The Strategic and Long-Range Communications Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a talented Signal Processing Engineer to develop novel algorithms for next-generation RF communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing signal processing algorithms to enable new capabilities in RF communication systems. This will involve working closely with the team to research, develop, and characterize new capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of signal processing theory and applications
  • Experience with scripting and analysis tools such as Matlab and Python
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and set priorities
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework or experience in wireless communication systems, information theory, detection and estimation theory, and/or linear algebra
  • Exposure to commercial communication standards (3GPP, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc...)
  • Experience with software development in C/C++ for signal processing applications
  • Experience programming in Cuda, OpenCL, or other related GPU framework
