Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range for this role: $35,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionSecurity Officer (PRN) Job Summary

We seek an experienced Security Officer (PRN) to join our team at Ascension. The successful candidate will provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. This includes performing proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats, investigating and documenting incidents, and maintaining knowledge of policies and procedures related to alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors;
  • Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats;
  • Investigate and document security incidents and hazards;
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures related to alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans;
  • Assist with local prosecution, law enforcement, and court systems as applicable;

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid Security Guard license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date;
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or similar environment;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
