Welding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Banker Steel Company LLC. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality steel products.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FCAW welding and structural steel fabrication, with excellent reading and interpreting skills. They will also be able to recognize and understand weld symbols, accurately read a tape line, and lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.

In this role, you will work closely with our production team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the required standards. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety, adhering to company and OSHA safety rules, and properly wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in FCAW welding and structural steel fabrication
• Excellent reading and interpreting skills
• Ability to recognize and understand weld symbols
• Accurate measurement skills
• Physical ability to work in various indoor conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noisy environments
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
