Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate BSN Skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at UPMC. As a Professional Staff Nurse, BSN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

About the Role:

This role involves providing direct patient care, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance care outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania or a compact state.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a critical care or medical-surgical unit.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
