Position Title: Laser Tracker

Location: Auburn Hills

Shifts Available: Day or Night

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p for Day Shift; Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a + Saturday 12p-6p for Night Shift

Role Summary

As a Laser Tracker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately allocate labor hours to the relevant jobs through the Labor Ticket entry process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and comprehend general job requirements as provided in the QA job folder by the Lead Inspector.
  • Execute necessary Build support or QA functions as outlined by the job lineup, TIR, and quality plan.
  • Complete the Tool Inspection Record (TIR) or equivalent documentation provided by the customer.
  • Initiate tool tagging as a result of inspection activities (In Process or Non-conformance).
  • Assist Lead Inspectors with customer buy-off efforts as needed.
  • Maintain the Laser Tracker equipment used for job functions.
  • Utilize the Document and Data control procedure to initiate, maintain, and finalize all electronic inspection records.
  • Adhere to all applicable QMS procedures and work instructions.
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and ensure ITAR compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently with both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T / FT&A.
  • Expertise in blueprint reading.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of tooling experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of QA experience.

Educational Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
