Position Overview

The BDC Representative will be tasked with managing both outbound and inbound communications to identify opportunities for generating leads and scheduling appointments. This role emphasizes relationship development through consistent follow-up with customers who have engaged with our services, ensuring their complete satisfaction. Additionally, this position will manage incoming calls and assist visitors arriving at our facility. The representative will facilitate vehicle rentals by accurately verifying and documenting necessary driver information, ensuring a smooth rental and return process. This role is also responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with our organizational values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage effectively with both new and existing customers via phone, email, or text, providing timely responses to inquiries and addressing questions regarding vehicles or services.
  • Schedule customer appointments efficiently.
  • Maintain a comprehensive customer database to encourage repeat business from each interaction.
  • Track communication methods and document appointments and recommendations made for each customer.
  • Coordinate appointments with interested clients.
  • Welcome and direct customers entering the facility.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and document preparation.
  • Ensure an excellent rental experience by maximizing sales and service opportunities with every customer, delivering professional and friendly service in all interactions.
  • Review rental terms with customers to ensure clarity regarding rates and service charges.
  • Confirm customer eligibility for rentals based on company guidelines.
  • Accurately prepare all rental and return documentation.
  • Assess vehicle condition post-rental and report any issues or charges to the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or office settings preferred.

Compensation Hourly, Non-Exempt: $16.00 - $20.00 based on experience.
