Sleep Study Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sleep Study Technician to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network. As a Sleep Study Technician, you will be responsible for performing sleep studies in a technical and efficient manner, scoring sleep studies according to guidelines, and handling lab chemicals with appropriate safety precautions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sleep studies in a technical and efficient manner
- Score sleep studies according to guidelines
- Handle lab chemicals with appropriate safety precautions
- Document study data per department policies
- Maintain log book for all studies performed
- Assist with training of new staff
- Complete Interscorer Reliability by the 15th of each month
To be successful in this role, you must be registered by one of the following organizations:
- Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT)
- American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST)
- National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT-SDS)
- Another organization that offers an equivalent examination accepted by the AASM
New Jersey candidates must also hold an active NJ Polysomnographic Technologist License.
Preferred QualificationsSuccessfully completed the requirements for registered polysomnography sleep tech.
