Job Summary:

St. Luke's University Health Network is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of sleep medicine. We are seeking a skilled Sleep Study Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sleep studies in a technical and efficient manner, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Score sleep studies accurately, ensuring high-quality results and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Set up and operate various sleep study equipment, including nasal CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, End Tidal CO2, Transcutaneous CO2, Home studies, and oxygen.
  • Acquire and document study data, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep medicine.

Requirements:
  • Registered by one of the following: Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST), National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT-SDS), or an equivalent examination accepted by the AASM.
  • Active NJ Polysomnographic Technologist License (for New Jersey candidates).
  • Successful completion of the requirements for registered polysomnography sleep tech.
