Position Overview

Role: Community Canvassers and Team Leaders - Advocate for Reproductive Rights

Compensation: $23-25/hour + bonuses

In the current climate, the need to safeguard reproductive rights is more critical than ever. We are collaborating with a prominent advocacy organization to mobilize the majority of Americans who support the legality of abortion.

This organization is dedicated to promoting access to essential reproductive health services, including abortion, contraception, paid parental leave, and protections against pregnancy discrimination. Our Arizona chapter, alongside a substantial membership base, is actively working to eliminate existing barriers to abortion and prevent future restrictions on reproductive rights.

Compensation Details: Starting pay for canvassers is $23/hour, while leadership roles begin at $25/hour. Additional benefits include overtime pay, bonuses for drivers, shift bonuses, paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses.

Work Schedule: Flexible shifts are available, running 6-7 hours from Tuesday to Sunday, with options for both part-time and full-time commitments.

Responsibilities for Canvassers ($23/hr):

  • Engage the public with a friendly and respectful demeanor
  • Deliver a persuasive campaign message and gather comprehensive survey responses
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance outreach capabilities
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
