Position Overview

Role: Community Canvassers and Team Leaders - Advocate for Reproductive Rights

Compensation: $23-25/hr + bonuses

In the current climate, it is crucial to safeguard reproductive rights. We are collaborating with Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona to mobilize the majority of Americans who support the legality of abortion.

About Us: Reproductive Freedom for All is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring access to abortion, birth control, paid parental leave, and protection against pregnancy discrimination. Our Arizona chapter, along with our extensive membership, is actively working to eliminate existing barriers to abortion and prevent future restrictions on reproductive rights.

Compensation Details: Canvass positions start at $23/hour, while leadership roles begin at $25/hour. Additional benefits include overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses.

Work Schedule: Shifts are available Tuesday through Sunday, with options for both part-time and full-time work. Each shift lasts between 6-7 hours.

Responsibilities of Canvassers ($23/hr):

  • Engage the public in a respectful and friendly manner
  • Deliver an impactful campaign message and gather comprehensive survey responses
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance outreach skills
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with health guidelines

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about progressive politics and democracy
  • Excellent communication skills with a willingness to engage with diverse individuals
  • Motivated and dedicated to reaching out to as many people as possible
  • Open to challenges and eager to develop campaign skills
  • Culturally aware and able to engage respectfully with the community
  • No prior canvassing experience required

Additional Compensation: Pay starts at $23/hr for canvassers and $25/hr for Team Leaders, with an extra $1 hourly bonus for Spanish speakers. We also provide driver bonuses, paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses. Full-time staff may opt into our healthcare plan.
