Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams and procedures, working closely with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, as well as breast ultrasound and interventional procedures
  • Interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain quality control records
  • Train and interact with students and new hires as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA-approved school
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays
  • Proof of mammography-specific training and certification
  • Experience in an acute care setting and proficiency in breast ultrasound
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent work experience in an acute care setting
  • ARRT (R) (M) certification
  • Experience with breast ultrasound and CRT Fluoroscopy License
