Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Underground Cable Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing physical installations of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from our network hub to customers' residences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Install underground cables using specialized equipment.
2. Collaborate with customers to ensure their internet connectivity needs are met.
3. Interpret technical drawings and instructions.
4. Promote Windstream products and services.
5. Train new employees on job functions.

Requirements:

• Ability to walk long distances while operating a drop plow.
• Flexibility to work overtime, callouts, and standby as needed.
• Basic math and technology skills.
• Color vision to distinguish between color-coded cables.
• Lift and carry up to 70 pounds safely.
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical examination.
