Position Overview

The Housing Navigator plays a crucial role in guiding clients through the housing search and placement process. This position involves utilizing available resources and services to help households achieve and sustain permanent housing. Responsibilities include assisting clients in compiling necessary documentation for housing applications, such as proof of income and identification, as well as managing data collection and entry.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Housing Navigator encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating services tailored to client needs
  • Assisting clients in gathering essential documents for housing applications
  • Identifying housing opportunities within the community
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring timely documentation
  • Advocating for clients' preferences and choices throughout the housing process

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Coordinated Entry System is preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience in housing-related social services
  • Possession of a clean driving record
