Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Liaison

About the Role:
At Omnicell, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a critical role in navigating and improving the specialty patient journey. This dynamic role requires a strong understanding of specialty pharmacy, clinical program management, patient counseling, provider communication, and limited distribution products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and capture new prescription resources to grow and expand the business in collaboration with specialty clinic locations.
- Expertly manage specialty pharmacy services, including REMS products, oncology, hematology, and rheumatology.
- Ensure the pharmacy meets accreditation requirements by reviewing patient clinical programs and specialty processes.
- Identify areas of expansion within clinics and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce obstacles for providers.
- Enroll specialty patients into the program and provide support throughout their therapeutic journey.
- Coordinate clinical projects, assist with formulary decisions, and ensure billing compliance and revenue capture.
- Assist in preventing and resolving drug-related issues and provide drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Meet Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy Services' standards based on Service Level Agreements with regard to metrics.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Three to Five years' experience in specialty pharmacy clinical roles with an emphasis on clinical program management, patient counseling, provider communication, and managing limited distribution products.
Competencies:
- Specialty disease state management and interventions, such as Transplant, Hepatitis C, HIV, Autoimmune, Oncology, and Pain Management.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the practice of pharmacy.
- Understanding of controlled substance rules and regulations as dictated by the Drug Enforcement Agency.
- Knowledge of REMS programs relevant to specialty pharmaceutical products.
Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
