Job Title: LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT Plastics

We are seeking a skilled LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT to join our team at HealthPartners. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify patient needs and provide routine office procedures and testing in the ambulatory care setting.
  • Assist patients to achieve basic health care goals and provide education and support as needed.
  • Document observations, actions, and patient outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide safe, accurate, and clinically competent direct care to patients and families.
  • Recognize patient abnormalities or urgent problems and seek appropriate assistance.
  • Obtain health history information and vital signs, and report variances to the healthcare team.
  • Teach techniques or provide information according to established program.
  • Accurately and appropriately document procedures and treatment in each patient's record.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide support to professional and technical staff.
  • Solve problems appropriately and seek assistance when needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN) or medical assistant program (MA).
  • Current licensure in Minnesota (LPN) or certification as a medical assistant (MA).
  • BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • One year of experience as an LPN (preferred).
  • Medical assistant certification or registration through AAMA or AMT (preferred).
