Position Summary
We are seeking a Manager, People Services & Culture to enhance our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in fostering employee relations and engagement, while collaborating with team members on various HR initiatives including compensation and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture positive employee relations through regular engagement and participation in employee-focused initiatives.
- Proactively assess and address human resources-related needs.
- Provide expert guidance to leadership on employment law, policies, and best practices.
- Draft and manage employee communications, job descriptions, and other HR documentation.
- Support and promote the positive culture and objectives of the organization.
- Implement HR strategies and initiatives, including recognition programs, performance management, and compensation reviews.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate employee relations issues, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Manage end-of-employment processes, including exit interviews and off-boarding support.
- Maintain accurate employment records and files.
- Complete OSHA logs and collaborate on safety programs.
- Utilize data to inform recommendations and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements in employee management; collaborate with legal teams as necessary.
- Consult with relevant teams on various HR matters, including salary recommendations and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Generalist or HR Manager roles, focusing on employee relations and engagement.
- Proven ability to leverage data and metrics for decision-making.
- Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships at all organizational levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor laws.
- Excellent presentation and writing abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience with ADP systems.
- Background in the Biotech industry.
Compensation for this role ranges from $95,000 to $125,000 USD.
