Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee Maintenance Technicians
- Manage Outside Contractors
- Coordinate additional resources for specific projects
Key Duties:
- Assign tasks to Maintenance Technicians
- Initiate modifications to product and process designs
- Design, construct, or procure necessary plant equipment, jigs, and fixtures
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures in materials and processes
- Collaborate with safety department personnel to uphold and enhance safety training programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or higher)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in product design and assessment
- Drive product and process cost reduction initiatives
- Document product and process specifications
- Prepare and troubleshoot turret and press brake programming
- Make project recommendations based on analysis
- Provide technical guidance and training to manufacturing supervisors and staff
- Lead initiatives to analyze production rejects, scrap rates, and cycle times; implement corrective measures
- Adhere to established operational practices and procedures
- Collaborate with various departments to achieve organizational objectives
- Contribute technical expertise to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams
- Understand the operation of factory equipment and industry-standard testing protocols
