Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Emory University's Department of Biomedical Informatics. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct research in computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on biomedical applications.
  • Develop and evaluate experiments, and prepare and publish scientific manuscripts.
  • Collaborate with a large team of researchers, including PhD students, postdocs, and research professors.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in computer vision and machine learning.
  • Participate in research discussions, publish scholarly research papers, and disseminate research results.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field, such as Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and signal processing.
  • Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues.
  • Experience with large volumes of physiological and temporal medical data and time series analytics.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and modern machine learning platforms.
  • Experience with computing in cloud environments and high performance computing is a plus.
