Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) to join our team as a travel nurse. As a travel nurse with Travel Nurse Across America, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings across the country, while enjoying a high level of compensation and benefits.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting, providing direct care and documenting patient information.
  • Assess and implement patient care plans, delegating tasks to other care providers as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patient families, including long-term care needs.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including preparing and administering medication, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, and monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of patients.
