Job Description:
Job SummaryTravel Nurse Across America is seeking an ICU RN to fill a travel nursing position in Chicago, IL. This is a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed salary of $120,000 per year, based on 36 hours of work per week and 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Provide direct care to patients in life-threatening situations, documenting and providing physician-directed care.
- Assess and implement patient care plans, and delegate to other care providers as appropriate.
- Provide education and support to patient families, possibly for long-term care needs.
Requirements:
- 2 Years of recent acute care experience.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to easily lift 20 pounds.
