EMT - Paramedic

As a Full-Time EMT-Paramedic with the City of Pharr, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the lives and property of our community. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring patients' conditions en route to the hospital, ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will collaborate seamlessly with various stakeholders, including police, firefighting units, and medical professionals, to provide comprehensive emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' conditions and provide critical care during transport to the hospital.
• Collaborate with emergency responders, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive emergency response.
• Accurately document incidents and maintain detailed records.
• Stay updated on the latest treatment methodologies and medical procedures through continuous training.

Requirements:

• Strong foundational knowledge of administrative and medical procedures.
• Proficiency in utilizing necessary equipment and materials.
• Exceptional logical reasoning skills to assess various situations and identify the best alternative solutions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and first responders.
• Ability to work various assigned shifts and adapt to high-stress scenarios.

• Competitive base salary of $39,400.00 and scheduled overtime of $23,360.00 totaling $62,760.00 annually.
