Registered Nurse, Venous Access, Per Diem

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Venous Access Nurse, Per Diem. This role will involve providing competent, safe, and compassionate care to patients requiring venous access maintenance and challenging IV insertions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to formulate a plan for venous access and achieve expected outcomes.
- Provide competent, safe, and compassionate care based on established NYUHC Patient Care and Nursing Standards.
- Carry out patient care responsibilities with emphasis on decision-making related to the nursing process.
- Participate in unit activities to provide patient care in a healing, humane, and caring environment.
- Comply with unit based and organizational professional standards, New York State Nurse Practice Act, and regulatory requirements.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
