Position Title: Project Manager

Status: Exempt

Reports To: General Manager

Position Overview: The Project Manager is tasked with overseeing designated clients and projects. This role will cultivate existing and establish new client relationships, submit project bids, oversee project execution, and manage scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Maintain effective communication with clients and teams to ensure a thorough understanding of project objectives.
  • Procure necessary products and manage inventory.
  • Comprehend job site protocols relevant to each project.
  • Conduct surveys and prepare job estimates.
  • Identify issues beyond the project scope and address them with clients effectively.
  • Perform tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients to discuss project progress.
  • Keep accurate records, including purchase logs and expense reports.
  • Update company software systems regularly.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with key personnel at client locations.
  • Foster a network of referrals to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Participate in scheduled conference calls, company meetings, and industry events.
  • Exhibit professionalism, tact, and diplomacy to represent the company positively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge and experience in General Contracting.
  • Ability to build and maintain enduring client relationships.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities for both clients and the company.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, communication abilities, and time management.
  • High integrity and strong work ethic.

  • Experience in managing or owning a service-oriented business is advantageous.
  • Restaurant industry experience is essential.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to utilize hand tools effectively.
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
  • General knowledge across various trades.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding of construction safety and related procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Access to reliable transportation for client site visits.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 100% of the time.

Physical Demands: The physical requirements outlined are necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Responsibilities may include:

  • Mobility around the work site, interacting with personnel and equipment.
  • Occasional use of ladders or stairs.
  • Operation of tools and equipment.
  • Installation or removal of equipment, including maneuvering in confined spaces.
