Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a skilled Structural Project Engineer to join our Protective Design and Security Practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients and consultants to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and expectations.
  • Coordinate, guide, and check the preparation of construction documents with staff, clients, and internal quality staff.
  • Determine project, design, calculations, and construction specifications for blast design.
  • Prepare construction documents within a BIM environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
  • All candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance.
  • Professional Engineer and/or SE License preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.
Compensation:

The rate for this position generally is $94,500-$110,250 annually.

This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law.

Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by the New York Equal Pay Transparency Law.

Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.

A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
