Recreation Therapist

At Universal Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing recreation therapy program oversight, including performance management and staff development of expressive therapy services.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' leisure and recreational activities to develop age and developmentally appropriate therapy groups.
- Establish behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Cedar Ridge.
- Provide recreation therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Bachelor's degree in a related recreation therapy field.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification.
- One to three years of experience in recreation therapy, preferably working with a mental health population.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds.
