The position involves acting as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for the SAAB 340b aircraft, specifically for Berry Aviation's on-demand cargo operations that necessitate a two-pilot crew. The Captain holds direct accountability for the performance and conduct of the Second in Command assigned to the flight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct flight operations in accordance with established company protocols
  • Supervise and assist in the loading of cargo to guarantee its safety and proper securing
  • Complete Weight and Balance documentation in line with company standards
  • Obtain local meteorological updates and air traffic control clearances, preparing the cockpit accordingly
  • Be available on call during designated hours and reach the aircraft within a 30-minute timeframe
  • Successfully undergo all required training and assessments provided by the company
  • Execute any additional tasks as assigned
