Key Responsibilities

As a Property Claims Field Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to manage claims related to accidents and weather events affecting residential and commercial properties.

Your role will involve:

  • Conducting thorough on-site evaluations of property damage
  • Collaborating with policyholders and insurance agents to streamline the claims process
  • Providing outstanding customer service while addressing client inquiries
  • Documenting findings and preparing comprehensive reports to support claims
  • Assessing coverage and policy terms to validate claims
  • Negotiating settlements in accordance with company guidelines
  • Flexibility to work both in the field and remotely as needed
  • Willingness to adapt to changing operational hours and travel as required


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in property claims inspection
  • Strong understanding of property insurance policies and claims handling
  • Knowledge of building construction principles
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
  • Proficient in claims management software

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with high-value claims
  • Background in construction
  • Familiarity with water mitigation inspections
