About the Role:
- Utilize a Safety-First mindset to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and foster strong relationships with suppliers.
- Accurately record and manage all on-hand inventory, including transfers, scheduled cycle counts, and critical cycle counts as needed. Lead physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze and propose obsolete inventory to management, recommending the best course of action for inventory relief.
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between on-hand inventory and the physical count, ensuring accurate recording in the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Report quality and conformance concerns regarding on-hand inventory to Quality and Purchasing, coordinating vendor returns and working with Purchasing and Accounting to ensure credits are received.
- Prepare and communicate inventory findings through variance reporting and MRP transactions, reviewing monthly with management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled warehouse environment, adhering to divisional standards and driving process improvement.
Requirements:
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm onsite, with overtime as needed.
- Minimum three years' experience in a warehouse setting, with familiarity with warehouse operations and MRP systems.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer and office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-driven, self-motivated attitude and excellent time management skills.
