Job Summary

The initial phase of the role involves cutting and assembling aluminum or steel, paint preparation, material handling, or assisting with electrical wiring. As you gain experience, you will be trained and partnered with personnel in the desired department to progress to more advanced roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform saw work, cutting steel tubes, angles, channels, and flat bars according to blueprint cut lists.
  • Drill, mill, tap, and mechanically assemble components.
  • Assist with the dis-assembly of machinery components.
  • Prepare machine components for painting.
  • Assist welders on fabrication projects.
  • Assist with wiring ovens, fans, and related electrical components.
  • Perform material handling and general cleaning duties.

Desired Skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32".
  • Experience with Band Saws is required.
  • Experience with sit-down Forklifts and overhead Cranes.
  • Experience with Welders, Shears, Drill Presses, and Grinders is a plus.
