Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Division Process Specialist to join our team at the Public Employees Retirement System. As a key member of the Operations Division, you will provide administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer and assist in the organization of our Outcome Based Management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Operations Division and the Chief Operations Officer
  • Assist in the organization of the Operations Division PERS Outcome Based Management system by gathering, preparing and presenting information
  • Analyze data, create reports and make recommendations to help Operations management identify trends in performance measurement
  • Draft communications, meeting minutes, presentations, forms and complete templates in accordance with procedures, policies, statutes and processes
  • Coordinate, plan and participate in agency initiatives
  • Maintain complete confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Administrative Specialist 2 experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels within the agency
  • Ability to anticipate needs of stakeholders and identify process improvements
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems
  • High degree of organization including ability to track multiple assignments and shift priorities
