Teaching Opportunity in Aviation

College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Aviation courses. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and two years of professional aviation teaching experience, or an associate degree and six years of experience, or a Flight Instructor's Credential.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Aviation courses in various delivery modes, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats.
  • Evaluate student performance and submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree and two years of professional aviation teaching experience, or an associate degree and six years of experience, or a Flight Instructor's Credential.
  • Equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, including those with physical or learning disabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching.
  • Access to personal technology and a home computer with the ability to teach online.
