Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty, Aviation to teach in our Aviation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, as well as student evaluation and timely submission of required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in Aviation courses, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats.
  • Evaluate student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree AND two years professional aviation teaching experience; OR, have an associate degree, AND six years professional aviation teaching experience; OR, hold a Flight Instructor's Credential in the discipline area; OR, the equivalent is required.
  • Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in online or virtual teaching.
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology.
