Position Overview:

The Walsh Group is actively seeking a skilled Dozer Operator to contribute to our projects in the construction sector.

The primary responsibility of the Dozer Operator is to proficiently operate a bulldozer at various job sites to facilitate the construction, maintenance, or repair of civil engineering structures. Operators are also expected to assist with additional tasks on-site as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operating a bulldozer to perform tasks such as land clearing, backfill trimming, and transporting materials like soil and aggregates.
  • Understanding operational procedures related to the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Performing routine maintenance, including oiling and servicing equipment, conducting daily safety checks, and completing necessary documentation.
  • Carrying out additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 3-5 years of operating experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Compliance with safety policies and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Good manual dexterity, with the ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for extended periods.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
