POSITION SUMMARY:

This position plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining salary structures for various job roles, aligning current employee compensation with established benchmarks, overseeing benefits management, and utilizing market data to support compensation modifications beyond the standard review period. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Paylocity, Excel, and data analysis, along with a strong commitment to compensation and benefits practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HRIS Oversight:
    • Drive the development of HRIS (Paylocity) capabilities within the organization.
    • Create reports and analytics from the HRIS to meet HR and business requirements.
    • Address and resolve HRIS challenges while providing training to personnel on system functionalities.
  • Compensation Evaluation:
    • Develop and revise salary ranges for all job classifications.
    • Align current employee salaries with their respective positions within defined pay structures.
    • Evaluate compensation data to assess market competitiveness and internal fairness.
    • Facilitate salary adjustment processes based on market insights and internal standards.
    • Offer recommendations for salary modifications to ensure equity and competitiveness.
  • Benefits Management:
    • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and additional offerings.
    • Ensure adherence to benefits regulations and organizational policies.
    • Assist employees with inquiries and issues related to benefits.
    • Coordinate benefits enrollment, modifications, and communications.
  • Benefits Analysis:
    • Monitor claims data, frequency, and severity to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Analyze benefits utilization and cost data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Employ analytics to negotiate health benefits renewals, ensuring competitive and cost-effective options.
    • Prepare and deliver reports on benefits performance and renewal recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to ensure uniform application of compensation and benefits policies.
    • Effectively communicate compensation and benefits information to management and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Paylocity HRIS, compensation analysis, and benefits management.
  • Proficiency in Paylocity is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in Compensation (CCP) or other relevant HR certifications.
  • Experience with market data tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Paylocity Market Pay).
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and associated regulations.
