Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Research Associate to join our team at the DNA Profiling Lab. As a member of the Biology Division, you will play a critical role in supporting ongoing research projects and routine casework examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in lab improvement and research projects, and assist in developing and validating new technologies and methods.
  • Conduct examinations for biological fluids using chemical and serological tests, and conduct DNA analysis of crime samples.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Director and Scientists.

Requirements

  • Background in Biology, Biomedical Science, or Biotechnology (or equivalent)
  • Successfully completed supervised laboratory research project in biochemistry or molecular biology
  • Prior laboratory research experience in molecular DNA field is desirable
  • Proficient in data analytic skills, including macro, R script, RPA, and Tableau

What We Offer

The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract with the option to renew for a further 2 years. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
