Job Summary

Discovery Life Sciences LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our research and development efforts by performing various laboratory tasks, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with our team of scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including working with human blood and bone marrow, maintaining organized records, and displaying creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Collaborate with our team of scientists to achieve research and development goals, utilizing strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operations, performing all duties in accordance with listed SOPs and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biological sciences or a related field.
  • Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and basic mammalian cell culture techniques.
  • Internship at a laboratory or experience in industry or academia, including laboratory-based skills in cell biology.
  • Independent research experience and strong multitasking skills, with the ability to maintain organized records and prioritize tasks effectively.

Location and Work Hours

This position is based in our Seattle, WA office, with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm PST.
