Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to Heavy Duty EVS Team Members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure that all EVS equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly, and that Team Members are using equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Continuously monitor schedules for heavy cleaning and projects to ensure that Team Members are in their assigned areas and have the necessary supplies and equipment to complete their tasks.
  • Logistics and Inventory: Maintain a weekly cleaning schedule and keep a daily log of projects and their completion.
  • Quality Control: Reinforce Team Members in the proper techniques of using chemicals and equipment, and ensure that all work areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that Team Members comply with established safety standards when using equipment and supplies, and report any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to the EVS Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in Heavy Duty EVS or Housekeeping required.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication required.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise level varies from quiet to loud depending upon business. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
