Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Integrated Mental Health Therapist II, III, or Licensed to join our team. As a core member of the Clinical Care Team, you will work within a medical setting to provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief, strength-based, and solution-focused services to adults, children, and families.
  • Assist with emotional and behavioral stabilization, including suicide prevention, de-escalation of patients, and referral for crisis services when needed.
  • Provide motivational-based wellness coaching and help patients create self-management goals.
  • Work with patients to increase their level of motivation to meet goals.
  • Educate staff on the process for mental health service referrals and psycho-educational topics as directed by BH protocols.
  • Maintain documentation of mental health services and follow through in patient charts with strong emphasis on communication with the care team located in the medical clinic.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, which includes coursework in psychological diagnostics.
  • One to three years of experience in the field for Integrated MH Therapist II, three or more years of experience for Integrated MH Therapist III, and three or more years of experience for Integrated MH Therapist Licensed.
  • Active WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License (includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Clinical Social Worker).
