DTI Technologist Job Summary
RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled DTI Technologist to perform routine and advanced DTI procedures on designated portions of the body. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DTI procedures with minimal supervision, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
- Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before exams.
- Prepare patients for DTI procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout.
- Adjust equipment as necessary to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates.
- Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
- Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote good safety habits.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual and software upgrades.
- Monitor medical supply inventory.
- Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of DTI procedures and protocols.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety regulations.
