Job Summary

H&E Equipment Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Equipment Inspector to join our team. As an Equipment Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of rental equipment to ensure its condition, functionality, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of rental equipment, including construction machinery, aerial lifts, earthmoving equipment, and general tools, to assess their condition and functionality.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks on aerial, earthmoving, and general equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and work performed.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Basic knowledge in the maintenance of general equipment or automotive.
  • Team Player: Willingness to help in other areas of the shop and yard where required.
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 40 pounds.
