Job Title: Outpatient Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Outpatient Registered Nurse will work in our Transitional Care Unit, providing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current appropriate state licensure
  • Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
  • Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
