We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at MAB Community Services.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will work with young adults aged 16 and above who are seeking more independence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community and occupation-based practice and be committed to making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of four clients, providing a minimum of four billable hours per week.
  • Provide pre and post-session email communications and summaries to clients, families, and team members.
  • Travel to and from client locations for sessions, with reimbursement for travel expenses.
  • Document client sessions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Bill clients for sessions in our EMR and billing tracker.
  • Communicate with the SFL team as needed and meet with the Program Director for weekly supervision and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for an innovative model and commitment to community and occupation-based practice.
  • Ability to work up to 8 hours per week, with at least 4 hours being billable.
  • Flexible, creative, self-directed, and committed to engaging in learning through supervision and coaching.
  • Licensed MA Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience.
  • Personal vehicle or access to a vehicle required.
  • Relevant experience working with young adults with ASD, ADHD, and other diagnoses.
  • Experience with parent collaboration and home-based therapy.
