Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Franklin Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing services and non-professional services as directed.
  • Perform patient care functions according to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor supply usage and notify appropriate departments to replenish stock as necessary.
  • Assist patients in and out of the clinic as needed.
  • Adhere to all clinic infection control, hazardous waste, and pharmacy protocols.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain equipment and knowledge of defibrillators, holter monitors, etc.
  • Perform and document Quality Controls on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a course for LPN. IV Therapy course desirable.
  • Licensed in the state of Louisiana.
  • CPR certified.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Good reasoning ability and judgment.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting and transferring patients and equipment. You must be able to withstand 8-12 hours or more of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and sitting. Manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, and adequate vision are required in daily work. You must be able to hear well enough to assess blood pressure and communicate with patients.
