Dialysis Registered Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at Innovative Renal Care. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make recommendations for adjustments to their care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in dialysis care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Registered Nurse License in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Meets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
  • Previous dialysis, ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg nursing experience is preferred but not required.
