Clinical Therapist Role

Sacred Path Indigenous Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Outpatient Therapist to join our team. As a mental health professional, you will work closely with Indigenous individuals, couples, families, and groups, providing therapeutic services to address various mental health issues.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, MSW, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited graduate program. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year clinical experience working with children and families and must be eligible for a California license or hold an active California license.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing clients' mental health concerns, history, and needs.
- Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), psychotherapy, family therapy, or other modalities based on the client's needs.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, documenting sessions, progress notes, treatment plans, and any relevant information in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, MSW, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited graduate program.
- Eligible for a California license (e.g., Licensed Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW) or active California license.
- Minimum one year clinical experience working with children and families, with two years required for licensed therapists.
- Demonstrated experience providing home and community-based counseling services.
The work environment at Sacred Path Indigenous Wellness Center is typical of those an employee will encounter while performing the primary functions of this job. Normal office conditions exist, and the noise level in the work environment can vary from low to moderate.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
